We are looking for a meticulous and data-driven Operations Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will use data analysis techniques to evaluate and improve our operational processes. By gathering, analyzing, and interpreting operational data, you will help optimize workflows, identify inefficiencies, and provide actionable insights that drive informed decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with operations teams to leverage data for enhancing productivity, performance, and overall operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Analysis:
Collect, clean, and analyze operational data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy. Interpret the data to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that impact operational efficiency.
Operational Reporting & Dashboards:
Develop and maintain regular operational reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide actionable insights for operations teams and senior management.
Process Optimization:
Analyze operational workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvements to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Support Decision-Making:
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to key stakeholders based on data analysis, helping to shape operational strategies and decisions.
Performance Monitoring:
Monitor and track key operational metrics (e.g., inventory levels, supply chain performance, production efficiency) and identify areas of underperformance, ensuring that corrective actions are taken when necessary.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with operations, supply chain, logistics, and finance teams to understand their challenges and provide data-driven solutions to optimize processes and improve performance.
Data Automation:
Develop and automate reporting tools and systems to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
Root Cause Analysis:
Use data to conduct root cause analysis of operational issues, helping to identify underlying problems and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.
Process Improvement Initiatives:
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by leveraging data analysis and methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma to improve operational processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Proven experience (typically 2+ years) as an Operations Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar role focused on operational data.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Excel, Python, or similar.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Experience with advanced analytics or predictive modeling.
Strong understanding of operational processes and KPIs, with the ability to identify trends and actionable insights.
Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
