Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of both of our warehouses, in McMinnville and Salem, OR, ensuring efficient processes for receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution. This role involves leading a team, optimizing workflows, and maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management: Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing and distribution.

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, including training new employees and conducting performance evaluations.

• Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accurate record-keeping.

• Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency and reduce costs.

• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulation and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.

• Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

• Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to warehouse performance, inventory levels, and shipping metrics.

• Proven experience (3-5 years) in warehouse management or a similar role.

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in warehouse management systems, preferably SAP (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Understanding of allergen rules within a food grade warehouse space.

• Ability to lift heavy items and operate warehouse equipment.

• Relevant certifications (e.g. Certified Supply Chain Professional) are a plus.
